Creon 25000 Capsule 10's belongs to a class of medicine called 'digestive enzymes' or 'pancreatic enzyme supplement' prescribed to treat malabsorption syndrome due to pancreas problems, boosting digestion process and deficiency of pancreatic enzymes which aids in digestion. Creon 25000 Capsule 10's is prescribed for people whose bodies do not make enough of their own enzymes to digest their food. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is the inability to digest the food properly due to the pancreas' lack of a digestive enzyme. 

Creon 25000 Capsule 10's contains ‘pancreatin enzymes’ breakdown food and converts it into energy. Creon 25000 Capsule 10's is a combination of amylase (to digest starch), protease (to digest protein) and lipase (to digest fat). Thus, together it fulfil the digestive enzymes requirements in the conditions of pancreatitis (inflammation of pancreas), pancreatic cancer, post surgery of pancreas, and steatorrhea (loose fatty stool due to poor fat absorption). 

Take Creon 25000 Capsule 10's with food to avoid gastric irritation. Swallow Creon 25000 Capsule 10's as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the capsule (or) open the capsule and mix the granules in apple/pineapple/orange juice or yoghurt; swallow the mixture directly without chewing. You are advised to take Creon 25000 Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. You may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, mild stomach pain, diahorrea, mild skin rash. in some cases. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
